Card Wallet FAQ
What is Card Wallet?
Card Wallet is a web app that identifies any sports or Pokemon card from two phone photos (front and back), including the exact set, card number, and parallel, and shows market values from real recorded sales. It runs at getcardwallet.com in any phone browser.
How accurate is the card scanning?
Card Wallet reads both sides of the card - the back's card number and copyright line pin the exact release. Serial-numbered cards are matched against real print runs, so a /275 in 2025 Topps Chrome football locks straight to the Yellow Wave Refractor. The only thing you may ever need to confirm is the color or pattern of unnumbered parallels.
Where do the card values come from?
Values are computed from real recorded sales over the last 180 days, weighted toward the newest sales, shown as low/average/high with a confidence grade. When a card has no recent sales, Card Wallet shows a clearly-labeled market estimate from licensed price-guide data - it never invents a number.
How many cards does Card Wallet know?
The catalog holds more than 4 million cards across baseball, football, basketball, hockey, soccer, wrestling, UFC, racing, golf, and Pokemon - including complete parallel rainbows for modern sets and vintage coverage back to the 1950s. It grows weekly as new sets release.
What does Card Wallet cost?
Free to start with a 25-scan taste. The Collector membership is $4.99/month or $29/year for unlimited scanning, values, daily comp lookups, and included eBay listings. Sniper Mode ($10/month or $99/year) and Dealer tiers for high-volume eBay sellers are optional add-ons.
How does selling on eBay through Card Wallet work?
Members link their own eBay seller account once. After that, any card page has a one-tap listing button - the title, photos, and item specifics are filled automatically, the listing runs under your account and your policies, and Card Wallet takes no percentage of the sale.
What is Sniper Mode?
Sniper Mode is Card Wallet's show-floor tool: scan a card through the display case (front only), and see its market value, recent sales, and a deal meter comparing the dealer's sticker price to the market - before you negotiate.
Can I export my collection?
Yes - every user can export their full collection as a CSV at any time, free. Your data is always yours.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Card Wallet runs in any phone browser at getcardwallet.com - the camera scanning works directly from the web page. iOS and Android app-store versions are in progress.
Does Card Wallet have a referral program?
Yes - any member can create a referral link and earn 10% of everything their referrals spend in their first year, paid monthly or applied as membership credit. Details at getcardwallet.com/partners.
